I Dream of Jeannie, 1965 - 1970 ( tv series )

Barbara Eden as Jeannie, a wondeerful and impish genie, wore a fitted short-sleeved bolero jacket, a veiled pillbox hot, and billowing, diaphanous harem pants. Television lore has it that Eden's belly button wasn't allowed to be shown, necessitating a higher waistband, but that rule wasn't instituted until the fourth season (when a scandalized viewer complained to NBC censors).
