Bright Lips Alert!!!

This seasons most talked about beauty trend, to compliment the bright summer clothes, is of course the bright bold lip sticks. It is all about getting noticed! Think pinks, reds and corals for a pretty spring look. Although if you really want to get noticed, try a deep burgundy on pale skin (seen in YSL shows) or perhaps a striking orange shade (as seen at Gucci and Marni). Although REMEMBER it is important to pick a shade that will suit your skin tone, as this will give you the confidence needed to wear them. There are three basic tones of skin - warm, cool and neutral. If you need advice as to which you are, just ask a pro at a make up counter! When choosing the shade it is also important to pick one that has a matching undertone to your skin. Read more about this here http://beaty.about.com/od/plasticsurgery/qt/lipcolour.htm . And as for finding the perfect product heres a guide to whats best out there . . .

For Oranges and Corals its best to use a lipstick, as it gives a more vibrant look, such as the Revlon Orange Flip Lipstick or MAC Morange Lipstick.

For Pinks choose a lipstain or a lipstick, depending on if you want a sheer look, long lasting colour or a matte colour. The best are Covergirl Outlast Lipstain in Everbloom Kiss and NARS Schiap Lipstick.

For the deep Burgundy shade, choose a sheer, glossy formula, which will help make it more wearable during the day. For example the Clinique Chubby Stick in Graped Up and Chanel Lip Gloss in Impertinence.
