Celebrating a Royal Baby in Style

: Kate Middleton is in labor! The will be here soon! Kate Middleton is officially in labor. If it's a girl, she WILL be Queen. BREAKING ROYAL BABY NEWS: Kate Middleton's gone into labour!

I think we can all tell from the sheer volume of tweets and news reports, that Kate has indeed gone into labour! We are all sending our best wishes and as most of us wait to hear if it's a boy or a girl and to get first glance at the new royal baby, I have taken the opportunity to remind us all of Kate's (style) journey so far...
Broiderie anglaise skirt suit by Alexander McQueen, with Russell and Bromley clutch and wedge heels for day two of the royal tour in Singapore.
Left : Topshop polka dot dress (which sold out in minutes of here wearing it) at the Warner Brothers Studios launch. Right : Emilia Wickstead cocktail dress with Rupert Sanderson courts at The National Portrait Gallery.
At the 60th anniversary of the Queen's Coronation, Kate wore a lace dress and silk jacket by Jenny Packham and a hat from Jane Taylor.
Left : Printed Erdem dress for a visit to Willows Primary School in Manchester. Right : Cream and white coat from Goat with Topshop peter pan collared dress for a visit to the offices of Child Bereavement UK charity.
The early love-birds at their graduation in Scotland in 2005.
On their wedding day in that famous dress! I remember watching and waiting religiously on the wedding day, after hearing rumors that the dress would be designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. And when I found this to be true, I literally screamed a little!! What a great start for the designer after she had recently become the head designer at Alexander McQueen.
One of my favourite dresses I have seen Kate in; a Swarovski crystal-encrusted pink gown by Jenny Packham with LK Bennett heels and a Prada clutch at the annual ARK charity dinner.

Left : Lacey Temperley London gown for a fundraiser at her former university, St. Andrews. Right :  A belted Whistles dress at a private viewing of her portrait at the National Portrait Gallery.
Another one of my favourites (and one I wish I could own) was the Jenny Packham teal gown with lace back detailing and Jimmy Choo heels at the BOA Olympic Concerts at London's Royal Albert Hall.
Left : A Hobbs leopard print coat dress for the naming of the Royal Princess Cruise Ship. Right : In slightly different attire, a very luxurious bespoke chiffon dress by Beulah, complete with a matching head scarf and cream heels, for a visit to the Assykirin Mosque in Malaysia during the Diamond Jubilee Tour. Stunning!
A lilac Alexander McQueen gown and Jimmy Choo clutch and heels for a dinner celebrating the BAFTA's in Hollywood.
And last but by no means least, the Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen satin gown with the angora shrug; her second dress for her wedding day evening celebrations.
So I've told you my favourite, which is yours?
