Everybody's Stary Eyed

It is no secret that I like to stand out with what I wear. I never wear jeans. I rarely wear leggins. And I scarcely wear flat shoes. I like evoke peoples opinions with my clothes. Today I chose something quite poppy and bold. Hype if you like <3

I'm feeling sexy & free, like glitters raining on me . . .

I felt like I needed to inject some colour into this dark, doudy British day. And as always I wanted a girly & playful look. Plus I had recently been Jan sale shopping ;)

I Refuse To Grow Up!!!

For my new textiles project, I have had to pick an object from a charity shop that both inspire me & i feel I am connected to. And look what I found. Its a My Little Pony for only 50p!!! As soon as I sore it, I felt like a little girl again & felt all giggly & childish - new I had found the right object. I have already thought how it could be connected to magic & fantasy, as well as unicorns - which reminded me of Lady Gaga's obsession with unicorns & fantasy, and also the more serious type of magic in Harry Potter. It is fair to say I am V excited about this project now - all because of I get a chance to reconnect with my inner child.

The Pastel Lady

An editorial from Vogue Nippon's February 2012 issue - entitled "Passion for Pastel" - expresses an optimistic outlook of the spring ahead of us. Already predicted to be a big trend this SS12, is the 1960's 'sex kitten' featuring cuts to draw in the waist & accentuate the curves, full skirts & slim pencil skirts, big hair & a sultry pout; this trend is featured heavily within the editorial, as is the pastel colour theme.
