Spring is Here!!!

Spring arrived on Sunday!!!! FINALLY out of the bland dull winter months, and to celebrate, i wore a mix of florals! Now this season, much like most SS, print is yet again a big thing, however this year, the bigger, the bolder and the greater the mix the better! Also bold powerful colours are big, especially oranges, reds and pinks - just take a look at Marc Jacobs SS11. Also how can you forget clogs!! I was so excited to wear them for the first time.

Pierre Ancy AW11

Heavy knits, gold metal bras, plunging necklines, 1970's glamour. These were the main trends showed within Ancy's AW11 catwalk show, which included unique embelishments, such as gold chain tassels and snowflakes, which dramatically moved while the models glided down the catwalk. Sheer fabrics have once again rolled through to the next season, including the maxi and the sheer top.

Lorella Signorino AW11

From the designer who created the label 'Love Sex Money', Signorino continued with this sexual, playful and youthful vibe throughout her Milan catwalk show. The collection featured hot pants, thigh high boots, and plastic, textured materials. Once again the 1970's trend showed it's head, as did prints and fringing.

D&G AW11

Following Gucci's love for colour in their AW11 collection, D&G have also based their collection on colour, challenging all preconceptions of the normal winter wardrobes. They use black and white playful prints, clashing colours, and mixes of heavy knits and lightly flowing chiffon.
