Rachel De Joode's Fashion Wallpapers

Rachel uses fashion photography to create repetitive patterns for custom made wall-papers. From a distance the designs have an ability to appear stylish and ornamental, however up close the design creates an intrecate kaleidoscopic effect. This is now her third collection! Personally my favourite one is the third one down - I'm already planning the re-decorating of my room if I could afford this!

Designer Julie Eilenberger

This young Danish designer has used inspiration from science fiction and Hollywood movies for her latest collection, which includes knitwear, a crochet bathing suit and an over sized jacket. Julie has already shown in three Berlin Fashion Weeks, and has designed a collection for Adidas. I absolutely adore her use of a limited colour pallet to create a greater impact upon the textured knitwear. Also I admire her experimentation's with different silhouettes. For more on the designer check out her website or her pictures on flikr.

Fashion Illustrator Magda Antoniuk

Magda Antoniuk, a Polish illustrator, uses a mixture of pencils and digital tools to create these beautiful and intricate fashion drawings. The hand drawn illustrations has been previously exhibited in Poland, and have been featured in several fashion magazines in Australia, Spain and London. I personally can not believe how fine the detail these vivid drawings are.

Karla Spetic SS11 Collection

This romantic and feminine collection by Sydney-based designer Karla Spetic, uses pastel colours - one of her signatures - and an beautiful Australian outback print onto her garments. I just adore how these bold prints almost tell a story, and would LOVE one of her blazers. What do you think? To buy one of her unique pieces go to her website.

Laurie Simmon's & Peter Jensen's Paper Dolls

For Peter Jensen's SS10 collection, he employed artist Laurie Simmons to advertise his collection, who created miniatures of his spring collection, modelled by paper dolls shot in a paper dolls house. The series of photos have recently been made into a book. Cute!!

Proenza Schouler Pre-Fall 2011 Collection

Proenza Schouler's Pre-Fall 2011 collection has been inspired by African prints, on a knitted paradise. The two designers behind this dynamic collection are Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez. I love how the designers have the courage to mix and clash such strong and contrasting prints. Something that should be so wrong, is somehow so right!!! To look at more of the collections go to Proenza Schoulder's website.
